The average SAT score varies depending on a number of factors, such as the specific group of students being considered and the year in which the test was taken. However, the College Board, the organization that administers the SAT, reports that the average total score for the class of 2021 was 1068 out of a possible 1600. This average is based on the combined scores of the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) and Math sections of the test. The average EBRW score for the class of 2021 was 533, while the average Math score was 535.

It’s important to note that the average SAT score is just that – an average. This means that some students scored above the average, while others scored below it. The exact average score can also vary from year to year, depending on a variety of factors. For the most up-to-date information on average SAT scores, you can visit the College Board website.
